Hi Deployed Love families!

I want to take a moment to introduce myself and give you the opportunity to reach out with any questions.

My husband is a prior Coastie and after a few moves for training in the Army Reserves we are now here at Fort Liberty to stay. This is my 6th year volunteering with Deployed Love. Every year is a little different but one thing remains; year after year I leave this even with my cup spilling over. I hope I leave my families feeling the same way.

We have two children, two dogs, and 5 chickens. I’m really involved in our little community in Angier, I play piano and sing in a band, I’m from Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State (WE ARE!), I’m a Libra so I always want to be surrounded by everyone, I love red wine, tea, books, and running and yoga! I’m a real Jack of all trades, master of none! HA!

My photography style is very natural. For our scene this year, I have a large wreath I’ll be using at the center, I have a rustic wooden bench and lots of red and green. Keep that in mind when choosing your outfits.

What to wear: I recommend coordinating, not matching. Try not to have too many patterns. Start with mom and then pick the other outfits to match hers. I love seeing a lot of different textures- so think chunky sweater with linen or corduroy. Or add some lace in!

Where we’ll meet: Smith Lake Park and Recreation Area, Area E

When: Saturday, November 4th at your scheduled time. We are on a tight schedule so please try not to be late. If you can be there a little early so your children can acclimate that would be wonderful.

We’ll post sneak peaks within a couple of days, I believe Deployed Love will be sending them out. Your gallery of 10 photos will be released on November 18th through an online gallery. Please download your photos within 7 days, I will not keep the gallery posted forever.

Take a look below for memories from my last 6 years with Deployed Love! I can’t wait to meet all of you!
